NVIDIA has launched NVIDIA DSX Ready, a partner qualification program designed to evaluate and certify third-party power and liquid-cooling hardware against its DSX AI factory reference architectures. The initiative launches with two initial product categories: battery energy storage systems (BESS) and cooling distribution units (CDUs).
The program aims to reduce integration risks and accelerate deployment timelines for AI data center operators facing severe power, cooling, grid, and physical site constraints. Qualified launch partners include Tesla, Hitachi Energy, and LG Energy Solution for BESS solutions, alongside Vertiv, LiquidStack, and LG Electronics for CDU systems. Additional hardware and software categories will be added over time.
Under the framework, suppliers undergo category-specific qualification testing to prove functional compliance with NVIDIA DSX standards. However, NVIDIA noted that passing qualification does not replace site-level engineering requirements or guarantee site stability.
