CrowdStrike and NVIDIA announced CrowdStrike SafeMind at Fal.Con 2026, an agentic cybersecurity system that couples CrowdStrike’s proprietary cyber threat data with custom offensive and defensive agentic harnesses built on NVIDIA Nemotron models. The platform creates a continuous coevolution loop where AI-driven offense and defense challenge and strengthen each other in real-time. SafeMind will ship natively within the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, while its constituent models and harnesses can also be deployed independently.
According to CrowdStrike, internal evaluations showed that its Blue Solano defensive model—built on Nemotron 3 Super—achieved higher accuracy rates than leading frontier models at 99% lower cost. The orchestration layer relies on NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Ultra to manage the defensive agent harness. CrowdStrike also introduced Falcon IQ for Project QuiltWorks workload automation and expanded its Guardian AI safety offering to provide specialized protections across critical sectors.
The alliance reflects an industry-wide push toward fully autonomous security operations as cyber threats become increasingly automated. By offering customizable agentic harnesses, CrowdStrike and NVIDIA aim to provide enterprise security teams with specialized defensive infrastructure that outperforms general-purpose models without forcing customers into a single model ecosystem.
Why it matters
Defensive security is transitioning from passive monitoring to autonomous agentic loops operating directly within enterprise platform infrastructure.
Custom post-training on domain-specific security data using open models like Nemotron can drastically undercut general frontier model costs while boosting accuracy.
