Israeli startup DataAgent Ltd. launched today with $10 million in pre-seed funding led by MizMaa Ventures and Alicorn Venture Partners. Founded in January by former Cloudify executives Ishay Yaari and Nati Shalom, the company plans to use the capital to expand customer adoption across North America.
DataAgent offers an open-source autonomous platform that operates directly within a customer’s Kubernetes control plane to detect and fix system faults in real time. Rather than streaming logs and metrics to third-party cloud vendors, the platform inspects live system state locally and executes pre-approved remediations using user-defined guardrails, which the company claims can reduce enterprise observability bills by up to 90%.
